China Alliance for Scientific Literacy (CASL), one organization committed to  improving the nation’s science communication capacity conducted a survey tour to the National Library of China on February 27, 2023, the latter is one of the member units of the alliance. 

The survey team visited the digital library area to have an understanding of the great changes brought by new technologies to the library services, and made a survey of the National Museum of Classic Books and the on-display exhibition of new discovery of ancient Chinese literature at the beginning of the 20th century to have an understanding of the development of the restoration and preservation technologies.

The CASL is scheduled to conduct more surveys and strengthen exchanges among member units to pay concerted efforts to formulate a new science communication pattern with all social sectors’ engagement.
