Sponsored by the organizing committee of the Smart China Expo 2023 and jointly organized by the Chongqing Association for Science and Technology and the Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE), the 2023 China DE100 Forum which was a high-end event in the international digital economy field with the aim at integration kicked off at the Chongqing Science and Technology Museum on September 4, 2023.

Under the theme of "Digital technology-driven development, value-added element innovation", prestigious experts in the fields of digital economy and information technology both at home and abroad had in-depth discussions on building an open platform and congregating innovative elements to promote the intelligent application of data.

The participating experts shared experiences and observations, giving rise to lively discussions and leading to the emergence of a gradually clear strategic path in the field.

At the event, Zheng Xiangdong, vice mayor of Chongqing Municipal Government, awarded certificate plaques of "2023-2025 Innovation Driven Demonstration City (District)" bestowed by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) to the Yongchuan District and Chongqing High-tech Zone.

Huang Wei, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), vice president of the CIE, Yin Hao, academician of the CAS and professor at the research institute of system engineering of the Academy of Military Science, attended the event and delivered the keynote speeches.

The opening ceremony of the event was presided over by Li Leiting, secretary of the leading Party members group and vice president of the Chongqing Association for Science and Technology.

Also present at the event were Xu Zhenling, secretary of the leading Party members group and vice president of the Hainan Association for Science and Technology (HAST), and Wang Tianhong, deputy secretary general of the CIE.

Professor Huang Wei and Yin Hao delivered keynote speeches entitled "Cultivating key root Technologies to build a flexible global electronic industry highland" and "Building an intelligent cyberspace to assist in the development of the digital economy" respectively.

At the event, Chongqing digital economy innovation and development report (2023) and 2022 Chongqing digital economy talent development report were released.

More than 200 representatives from relevant departments and organs including the department of economic and information technology of the Tibet Autonomous Region and HAST, as well as experts from relevant districts and counties, universities, research institutes, enterprises, and municipal academic societies in Chongqing, participated in the forum.
